HTS Group Ltd was the successful Head Contractor for
the Turn Key Design and Build Auckland City Parking
Guidance System.
HTS Group Ltd were able to design, supply, install and
now provide on-going service and maintenance support for
the parking guidance system to Auckland City Council.
There are 7 VMS signs located on the main arterial routes of
Auckland City, indicating the vacant spaces available at the
designated car park.
Space available details are in real time, every ten minutes.
The system has been
developed to accommodate any car
park spaces counting
systems within a carpark.

The GPRS communications, via Vodafone, communicates between the carpark and the central server
and the On-Street VMS Displays.
The Parking Guidance System was commissioned in 2006 and has proven to be a reliable and important
asset for the Auckland City Parking.

information
can be
viewed on-line.
